At the end of this course, regardless of whether you are a professional, enthusiast or student photographer, you will have gained a deeper understanding and confidence of how to approach performance photography, from the creative and technical standpoints, exploring a range of approaches to subject and interpretation.
All participants will need to bring a digital camera, lens and their own laptop or tablet to edit images on.

Josh Tomalin is a photographer and lighting designer for dance and theatre. Light in all its forms is what he works work with. He has over a decade of experience designing for the stage, touring dance and site-specific events which has hugely influenced his approach to photography.
His photography has appeared nationally in Fujilove, FujiRumours, The Stage and on numerous posters, programmes and online. Recent clients include Chipping Norton Theatre, Arlene Phillips, Emma Brujes Productions, Oxford Dance Forum, Arts at the Old Fire Station, Three Street Productions, Flintlock Theatre, Experiential Dance, the Wardrobe Ensemble and many new companies.
