This course is a series on genealogical research focussing on ancestors with a military past. The classes will include a brief description and identification of the types of records, recommended resources, how to begin and top tips. By the end the participant should be able to confidently identify a route for their research. Due to the nature of readily accessible records, most examples are drawn from Army records, but the research tools would apply for anyone interested in general genealogical research
